June 28, 2008 -  AgentHut supports the African Women’s Cancer Awareness Association (AWCAA).
AgentHut Insurance staff set up a food stand and refreshments at the Wheaton Park in MD to support the walkathon. Over 100 African American women and family participated in the walkathon. "We are proud to sponsor an event for a good cause," commented Agency Principal Malan Chakravarthi.

June 28, 2008 – AgentHut management team supports DC high school students – “Igniting the spirit”.
This event was organized by Think Local First – a business group in Adams Morgan, Washington DC. The event is to ignite entrepreneurial spirit in youth. Over 50 students from local high schools participated to generate business ideas and learned to create a business plan. Students in their working session created marketing plans and a sales pitch and presented to the audience to raise capital.
