06/28/2008 – AgentHut supports the African Women’s Cancer
Awareness Association (AWCAA). AgentHut Insurance staff set up a food stand and refreshments at the
Wheaton Park in MD to support the walkathon. Over 100 African
American women and family participated in the walkathon. "We are
proud to sponsor an event for a good cause," commented Agency
Principal Malan Chakravarthi.
06/28/2008 – AgentHut management team supports DC high school students –
“Igniting the spirit”. This event was organized by Think Local First – a business group
in Adams Morgan, Washington DC. The event is to ignite
entrepreneurial spirit in youth. Over 50 students from local high
schools participated to generate business ideas and learned to create
a business plan. Students in their working session created marketing
plans and a sales pitch and presented to the audience to raise
capital.
4/30/2008 – AgentHut Insurance hosts lunch on Business
Insurance seminar at Busboys and Poets. The event was attended by
several business CEOs and HR executives in the Washington DC area, and speakers were from Allstate Insurance Company. For more information

at the Washington Convention Center for the Health Care Awareness
Expo.
03/10/2008 – AgentHut Insurance conducts seminar on
Business Insurance for business owners, organized by DCCH. The event was
attended by over 20 business owners and entrepreneurs and was geared to
educate the audience on business insurance, key man insurance,
business protection, LSDBE certification, etc.
